Mechanical Project Engineer

Noel Group are looking for a driven and skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our client's team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work on diverse and challenging projects within a dynamic environment.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for overseeing mechanical project activities from design review through to construction and commissioning, ensuring all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and project requirements.
• Ensure all work is delivered in line with the Project Quality Assurance (QA) Plan and benchmarking processes.
• Develop engineering solutions, including detailed calculations and sketches, for client approval.
• Manage and issue Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify and confirm project scope and requirements.
• Review coordinated construction drawings and prepare technical submittals for client approval.
• Evaluate specialist supplier packages to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and design intent.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and monitor procurement schedules.
• Review and coordinate preliminary Building Control (BCAR) inspection plans with the quality team.

Role Requirements:

• Degree (Level 7/8) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role or industry is preferred.
• Strong IT skills, particularly with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
