Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability and functionality of our mechanical systems through effective maintenance and repair practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and hands-on experience with various mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct electrical system maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Utilize pneumatic and hydraulic systems for repairs and maintenance
  • Execute PLC programming for system optimization and troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation of all maintenance and repair activities
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address complex mechanical issues

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in mechanical or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance or similar role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with equipment repair
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Familiarity with PLC programming is a plus
  • Experience with preventive maintenance practices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices
