Laboratory Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role involves hands-on work in a laboratory setting, focusing on the assembly of prototypes and the setup of test equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing tests, as well as generating detailed reports.
Responsibilities
* Perform hands-on work in a laboratory environment for assembly of prototypes and setting up test equipment.
* Plan, execute, and analyze tests, and generate reports.
* Repeat laboratory tests accurately and consistently.
* Assemble prototypes, work with and calibrate laboratory instruments, and document laboratory experiments.
* Maintain samples and materials for testing.
* Understand test methods, set up test configurations, coordinate fabrication of fixtures, and debug test setups as needed.
Essential Skills
* Experience in hands-on testing in any capacity of product development, quality, or manufacturing (Can be from school).
* Ability to work on-site daily during regular business hours.
* High School Diploma required.
* Undergraduate experience in Electrical, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering preferred.
* Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
* Strong computer aptitude, familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
* Aptitude with electrical and mechanical fabrication or testing experience.
Work Environment
This position is based in a lab environment, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role offers an open-ended long-term opportunity with 5 days of accrued PTO and 9 holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
