Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Piping Department Manager for one of our premier engineering consulting clients in Pittsburgh, PA. This role provides you the opportunity to have technical and project oversight responsibilities for a staff of engineers and designers working on the latest state-of-the-art facilities in a wide variety of markets such as industrial, manufacturing, oil & gas, real estate, solid waste, power, and commercial. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and a passion to apply professional experience and knowledge in a team environment. This individual should be a detail-oriented professional, understand the importance of meeting personal and team commitments, and be flexible in adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related major
• 8+ years of experience as a Mechanical Piping Design Engineer
• Ideally Industrial Piping background
• 4+ years of experience leading/managing a group of engineers
• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of industry codes and standards (ANSI, ASME, IBC, ISO, NFPA)

Salary Range: $140K – $175K - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
