We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering Lead to join our manufacturing test engineering organization, driving the development of data-driven production testing equipment for Tesla's power electronics across vehicles, energy storage, and charging products.
This role is a critical part of the machine that builds the machine, requiring a strong technical contributor who can both execute and lead- balancing hands-on engineering work with guiding a small, high-performing team. The ideal candidate thrives on solving complex challenges, optimizing manufacturing processes, and mentoring others, all while delivering innovative solutions that improve efficiency and reliability.
We're looking for a problem solver with strong analytical skills, exceptional organization, and keen attention to detail. You should be comfortable with leadership responsibilities, driving key initiatives, and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to take ownership, grow your impact, and shape the future of Tesla's manufacturing test engineering team.
