Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in the layout and design of assigned components and systems within designated project(s).
• Collaborate with Pumps & Expendables Engineers to seek guidance and clarification on assigned tasks.
• Perform and document necessary engineering calculations to support checked and/or approved designs.
• Create precise engineering documents and drawings using SolidWorks, MathCad, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to ensure unambiguous manufacturing processes and to effectively present findings and conclusions.
• Review and verify engineering drawings and layouts for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, in compliance with NOV’s company policies and Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Deliver a formal presentation of results and accomplishments at the conclusion of the internship or employment term.

Job Requirement

• sCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• .Foundational knowledge or exposure to mechanical systems and hydraulic principles
• .Familiarity with SolidWorks and MathCad
• .Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and/or other data analysis tools
• .Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams
• .Solid analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data and support informed decision-making
• .Excellent verbal and written communication skills
