Summary

Our Engineering Services division of Leadec is seeking a hands-on, working Mechanical Project

Superintendent to execute and oversee all field projects including, but not limited to:

· Body & Assembly Automation projects

· Powertrain Automation projects

· OEM installation projects

· Structural steel and mezzanine design, manufacture and installation

· Conveyor design, manufacture and installation

· Mechanical & Electrical installation

· Equipment Relocation (Rigging & Millwright Projects)

· On-site technical services


Responsibilities:

· Ensure tools and equipment are prepared before project start.

· Operate mobile powered equipment such as cranes, fork-lifts, etc.

· Lead and direct onsite mechanical work crew to perform industrial installations,

demolitions, and relocations.

· Ensure that all projects are performed in accordance with contractual and quality

standards.

· Schedule and direct the daily activities of work and taking necessary action to assure

that the project objectives of cleanliness, safety, price, schedule, quality and process are

met

· Development, procurement, and enforcement of safety policies and procedures

· Maintain daily paperwork such as timecards, field reports, schedule updates and E-mail

correspondence to keep the various people involved with the project informed of

important issues

· Implement incremental project schedules that make sure upcoming events are on track

and are being proactively attended to

· Promote and maintain a culture that supports our corporate principles

· Conduct and/or attend pre-construction, progress and other project and staff meetings

· Monitor staffing needs, evaluate performance, and address employee relation issues as

warranted for field staff
