What You’ll Get To Do
Support and perform tasks associated with aerospace and automotive related research and development projects in the area of system design, build, prototyping, testing and applications of Industry 4.0 enablers for digitalization of manufacturing.
Investigate innovative applications of Industry 4.0 technologies and comprehensive solutions to improve automated manufacturing equipment design and exceed customer requirements.
Serve as a technology expert and key technical liaison for internal and external customers on specific research and development projects.
Provide engineering support to current project process, design, and simulation teams by providing enhanced solutions based on augmented, virtual and mixed digital realities.
Identify new Industry 4.0 based Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies for digital and offline monitoring of automated equipment using edge devices connected to control panels.
Develop new solutions by using VA/VE approach to promote unique selling propositions for the Company to be a strong competitor in the aerospace and automotive businesses.
Provide detailed technical proposals for research and development projects, outlining a project approach to achieve the objective, inclusive of process steps.
Support and be accountable for communication pertaining to current and future status of assigned projects.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with assigned project managers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support, including unique training and in field expert support for applications of Industry 4.0 related technologies
What We’re Looking For
Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or educational equivalent.
Six months of experience in the position offered, or in a similar position, such as VAVE Engineer.
Experience must include working with internal and external customers to accomplish continuous improvement targets and cost reduction goals; supporting application of Additive Manufacturing technology with Generative Design strategy; and research with regard to Industry 4.0 technologies and benchmark studies.
