Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer with 4-5 years of experience in Design & Manufacture. This role involves creating and revising drawings in SolidWorks, managing technical data packages, and supporting production on the floor. Experience with Document Control procedures under ISO 9001 or similar industry standards is essential. The ideal candidate will also have project management experience, preferably managing 1-2 engineers. Responsibilities * Create and revise drawings to reflect system designs in SolidWorks. * Support production on the floor with experience in production techniques from design to manufacturing. * Assist in developing functional test procedures for products. * Manage and control technical data packages. * Move data from other platforms to SolidWorks, such as Inventor. * Ensure compliance with Document Control procedures under ISO 9001 or equivalent industry standards. Essential Skills * 4-5 years of experience in Design & Manufacture as a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer. * Experience in project managing others, preferably managing 1-2 engineers. * Proficient in SolidWorks for creating and revising drawings. * Knowledge of production techniques from design to manufacturing. * Experience with Document Control procedures under ISO 9001 or equivalent industry standards. * Ability to manage and control technical data packages. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience with Inventor, PDM, Redline, Drawing, Assemblies, Parts, Models, Drafter, Drafting, Engineering Change Orders, Mechanical Design, and Production Documentation. Work Environment You will be working in a large, fairly new manufacturing facility located in Nottingham (White Marsh), MD. The facility specializes in building Blast Containment Vessels and offers a hands-on, dynamic work environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $110000.00/yr. With over 30 years of manufacturing experience, business development, and close working relationships with end-users, system integrators, and technology developers, we are an expert in providing ready, relevant, and reliable solutions to military forces and public safety. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, based outside Baltimore, Maryland, is a 46,000-square-foot building capable of both large and small-scale metal fabrication, assembly, and kitting.
