What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the mechanical maintenance team, overseeing performance and development
  • Managing mechanical services and contractors to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Planning and supervising preventive maintenance and shutdowns
  • Responding to equipment failures, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing solutions
  • Managing maintenance budgets and optimising spare parts availability
  • Ensuring statutory compliance, including safety device testing and PSSR-regulated systems
  • Supporting audits and compliance checks


What we want from you:

  • Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance or engineering within a heavy process environment
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple contractors and maintenance contracts
  • Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH
