Job Overview

This internship is an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate student in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering to gain hands-on experience in a modern consultancy environment. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on a wide variety of real projects, developing your technical knowledge while learning how MEP systems are designed, coordinated, and delivered on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior engineers in the design and specification of HVAC, water, and mechanical systems
  • Assist with producing drawings, calculations, and reports for live projects
  • Attend internal project and design team meetings to gain insight into multi-disciplinary collaboration
  • Help review mechanical layouts using tools such as AutoCAD and Revit
  • Participate in site visits and inspections to see how designs are implemented
  • Learn about energy efficiency, compliance standards, and how sustainability is integrated into MEP design

Qualifications

  • Currently studying Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in the built environment and mechanical systems design
  • Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a team
