Job Description

We are seeking a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate to join our team as an intern for a 2-month temporary position, with the potential to convert to a full-time role based on performance. This is a hands-on role, working in our office 5 days a week, where you’ll contribute to the design, development, and testing of robotic actuators, testing equipment, assembly equipment, and robotic systems. This position offers immense opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical components for robotic systems.
  • Participate in prototyping, assembly, and testing of robotics hardware.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to integrate mechanical designs.
  • Conduct hands-on experiments and troubleshooting to optimize system performance.
  • Document design processes, test results, and technical specifications.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new product features and improvements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic working knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science principles.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360, or similar).
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in building, prototyping, machining, or 3D printing, with a passion for creating and tinkering.
  • Past projects or work experience showcasing hands-on technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for robotics and a desire to learn in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.

Job Details

  • Position: Mechanical Engineer Intern (Temporary, 2 months)
  • Location: Mahadevapura, Bengaluru, India – In-office, 5 days a week
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Duration: 2 months, with potential for full-time conversion based on performance
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience, plus stock options if converted to full-time employment.
