Position: Mechanical Engineer II
We are looking to add an energetic and talented Mechanical Engineer to our team. A successful Mechanical Engineer on our team will have a passion for precision, innovation, and sustainable design. You will play a critical role in creating Revit models, developing construction documents, and ensuring compliance with client and industry standards. Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed Revit models of mechanical and plumbing systems in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Generate comprehensive construction documents from Revit models, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform engineering calculations, equipment selection, and layout for mechanical systems.
- Size and layout ductwork, hydronic, and plumbing piping systems to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through QA/QC processes and participate in clash detection using Revit.
- Develop flow diagrams and control systems for mechanical systems.
- Conduct energy calculations and energy modeling to support sustainable design practices.
- Provide Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) to assess the long-term viability of system solutions.
- Maintain familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and industry guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from an A.B.E.T. Accredited Program.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in mechanical and plumbing system engineering.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the residing state or the ability to gain reciprocity is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software applications is essential.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
