CAM Engineer – Ghent (Belgium)

A fast-growing engineering company in Ghent is looking to strengthen its team with an experienced CAM Engineer to support booming operations in the aerospace and space sectors. If you're entrepreneurial, hands-on, and looking for a role where you can make an immediate impact — this one's for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and optimize CAM programs using PTC Creo Manufacturing for high-precision, high-performance parts
• Work primarily with steel and titanium, including hard steel components
• Contribute directly to the production of components used in aerospace and space applications
• Collaborate with a skilled team of CAM Engineers both locally and internationally
• Support the shop floor to ensure quality, precision, and production excellence
• Drive improvements in machining processes, tooling strategies, and overall efficiency

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in a CAM Engineer role — we need someone ready to contribute from day one
• Strong proficiency in PTC Creo Manufacturing (Creo NC)
• A solid background in the metal or machining industry
• Hands-on experience with steel, titanium, and especially hard steels
• Fluent in English or Dutch
• Autonomous, proactive, and entrepreneurial — you thrive in fast-paced, technical environments
• A team player who can also operate independently with confidence
