Renault Trucks Product Sales Engineer
What is the Job?
As an OEM Product Sales Engineer, you will provide exceptional dealer, supplier and customer support. Act as a liaison for a network of dealerships in the following areas: sales, finance, service, marketing, and logistics. You will play a key role in the activities and processes that help the importer run effectively.
Core Responsibilities Will Include
- Building, Pricing, advising and supporting the Irish Renault Trucks dealer network on vehicle specifications, correct configurations for customer applications.
- Dealer Network Liaison to the Engineering Department in the UK and in France, to engineer unique vehicle adaptations that may be required to streamline bodybuilder construction.
- Management of stock vehicles.
- Technical and homologation support for bodybuilders, orchestrating internal and external cross-functional collaboration to achieve overall vehicle registrations and deliveries.
- Supporting and improving homologation and vehicle compliance strategies in line with UN ECE Directives
- Assist in technical product updates, training, marketing, and presentations to build the networks technical understanding of product knowledge and complete vehicle compliance to build customer relationships.
- Supporting the importer team in planning and conducting product price positioning, tender applications, and direct sales strategies.
- Supporting the ordering and management of trailers.

Pay And Benefits
- €55,000-€65,000 per year depending on Experience

Requirements
- Minimum: 3rd level Diploma or bachelors degree in Vehicle Technology, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Alternatives: To 3rd Level Qualification that maybe consider is Phase 7 of SOLAS QQI Level 6 Heavy or Light commercial Vehicle Mechanics Apprenticeship,
- Minimum: Efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in Written and Verbal English
- Cognitive and Emotional Intelligence
- Resident in Republic of Ireland
Desirable Qualifications
- Two Years+ OEM Commercial Sales Experience within Heavy, Light or Passenger Vehicle Sectors.
- Efficient in Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI
- Drivers Licence
