As a firm that values collaboration and technical excellence, we are looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer or Designer to our team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer / Designer who can develop HVAC and plumbing systems from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing load calculations, selecting equipment, preparing construction documents, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems in accordance with applicable codes and client requirements.
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations using software tools (e.g., Manual J/S, Carrier HAP, EnergyGauge, or similar).
• Develop construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Coordinate with electrical and other teams to ensure interdisciplinary alignment.
• Communicate with clients, architects, contractors, and code officials as needed.
• Support site visits, field surveys, and construction administration activities.
• Maintain organized documentation and participate in QA/QC reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) OR equivalent field experience.
• 2–6 years of MEP or HVAC design experience preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Revit and Bluebeam experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of IMC, IECC, and IPC; experience in Colorado or surrounding states a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• EIT certification or PE license a plus but not required.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
