Our Engineering firm client in Richmond is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer- Building Services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical designs in AutoCAD from concept, tender, permit, and construction for residential buildings.
• Coordinate all construction documents inclusive of concrete deck planning and layout and Mechanical room Layouts
• Create As-built drawings
• Manage site instructions
• Review equipment shop drawings

Requirements/Qualifications

• Experience in high- rise residential construction
• Minimum 5 years experience in the construction industry
• A Can do attitude
• The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks well
• Knowledge of Mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems designs
• Proficient with MS Office- Word, Excel, Outlook
• Strong AUTOCAD skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Experience in Revit 3D modelling is a plus
