The Opportunity:

UST Band- Associate III - Engineering Design

Role: Mechanical Engineer

What should you have?

• The candidate should be able to identify if there is an identical part existing in the database for all the new parts that is being released from FY’25.
• The candidate should be able to Use BCT a Class and download all the relevant part attribute information of the part family
• Map the attribute values for all the parts release from FY’25 by opening the drawing/spec sheet/ Technical Data Sheet for each part and find the relevant and applicable part attributes/characteristics/parameters, e.g., Material, Grade, working temperature, thickness, length, width, coating, coating thickness etc., or extract the data from BCT if available.
• Analyze for duplicates and send the feedback to part cataloging team of the duplicates identified along with relevant attribute data comparison proving the same.
• The candidate should be able to perform 3D shape search to identify the duplicates based on shape search
• Tool : PLM Software – Teamcenter/UG NX
