Overview Integral Fedreal is currently recruiting for a Mechancial Designer located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. Computer Aided Designer with specialty in Mechanical Industrial Facilities for contract position at Wright-Patterson AFB with the Air Force Research Laboratory. Must have knowledge of HVAC and Process Piping codes and materials. This position requires a working knowledge of the terms, procedures, and codes of the industry to develop or translate engineering ideas or sketches from senior engineers into practical construction drawings. For security purposes, successful candidates must be able to pass National Agency Check and local law enforcement and credit checks as a condition of employment. Responsibilities Knowledge of industrial facilities mechanical installation techniques.reate engineering construction drawings of mechanical utilities under direction of engineers. Knowledge of industrial HVAC and process piping. Modify and update existing facility drawings under direction of senior designers. Ability to work in a team-environment with Air Force customers, other engineers, designers, and technicians. Must work in team environment with Air Force customer, other engineers, CAD designers, and technicians. Qualifications Must have AutoCAD experience. An associate’s degree in drafting and/or design in an Engineering and Technology ABET accredited Engineering program. At least 15 years technical experience or training in CAD. Experience or training in the design of mechanical HVAC installation and mechanical process piping systems and some light structures. An understanding of the codes and principals of mechanical utilities and systems.
