Are you an expert in pneumatic systems, bracket design, and automotive build support? Join Netgroup Engineering in Greensboro, NC, where you’ll play a key role in supporting cutting-edge vehicle builds and delivering high-quality pneumatic system designs that meet rigorous FMVSS 127 standards.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and key external partners at sites in VA and PA, tackling everything from CAD design to issue resolution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the pneumatic systems lead for vehicle builds across multiple sites (NRV, LRO, Brigham)
• Own the design and release of pneumatic components, brackets, and installation layouts
• Drive resolution of build issues with GTO and cross-functional teams
• Release CAD models and documentation using CREO and KOLA (PDM)
• Manage open issues including PILs, DCNs, and PCRs through agile workflows
• Align deliverables with stakeholders including technical leads and group managers
• Ensure compliance with QDCCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Function)
• Champion continuous improvement and design best practices

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pneumatic schematics, valves, fittings, tubes, and connectors
• Advanced skills in CREO (sheet metal, piping, assemblies)
• Proven experience in sheet metal bracket design and vehicle packaging
• Familiarity with GD&T and FMVSS 127 braking standards
• Volvo development tools/process knowledge is a major plus
• Skilled in issue tracking and supplier communication
• Clear communicator with a proactive, accountable mindset

Deliverables You’ll Drive

• Resolution of all PILs related to pneumatic systems
• Release of CAD models, line documentation, and DCNs via KOLA
• Execution of PCRs with full cross-functional alignment
• Build support and feedback consolidation across sites
• Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in design and development
