QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering * 0-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area * Able to work in a team environment * Self-motivated with strong ability to learn / adapt * Willingness to travel up to 20% PRINCIPAL DUTIES Major responsibilities are listed but not necessarily limited to the following duties: * Utilizes CAD software to design new products and make improvements to existing products * Works with engineering / manufacturing team members to ensure designs are technically and economically feasible * Creates drawings and engineering specifications for products to be manufactured in Andritz facilities as well as outside vendors * Travels to customer sites to obtain necessary technical information and measurements for equipment design projects * Travels to customer sites to assist with installation and provide support * Travels to customer sites to assist in chip quality testing & consulting * Create designs in line with company procedure and client standards / regulations * Provides technical support to internal teams and customers * Works under the supervision of Engineering Manager All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
