Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in machine design, particularly in the metal fabrication and automation sectors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing robust, high-precision machinery, automation systems, or similar manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of heavy-duty metal fabrication machines from concept to production.
• Develop 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and BOMs using tools like SolidWorks or Inventor.
• Perform structural and thermal analysis (FEA) to ensure machine durability and performance.
• Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical systems.
• Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of new designs.
• Continuously improve existing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineer field.
• 2+ years of experience in machine design
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
• Strong understanding of materials, welding, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with FEA tools and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with CNC systems and automation (Helpful).
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
