Job Summary

The Mechanic will complete minor repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and conduct periodic inspections, under the direction of the maintenance lead, in accordance with the maintenance plan / schedule, on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.

Essential Job Accountabilities

• Basic hand tools
• General mechanical knowledge including, hydraulics and electrical
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and work order execution
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Basic welding skills
• Work a flexible shift and overtime when required.
  
  

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade education in industrial mechanics (preferred)
  
  

Additional Requirements/Skills

• Compliance with safety policies and regulations.
• Correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Communicate well and work in clean orderly manner
• Class C driver’s license (CDL preferred)
• Heavy truck maintenance experience preferred.
