Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 380 employees.

Job Description

Monitoring and management of all testing equipment available on site to ensure a smooth testing process.

  • Procurement, incoming calibration/testing and issue of test equipment
  • Labeling of all test equipment with test equipment number & test sticker
  • Updating and maintaining the test equipment file (IT system)
  • (Commissioning of) maintenance, repair and calibration of test equipment
  • Inspection of rejected test equipment
  • Categorizing test and auxiliary equipment in accordance with applicable standards
  • Filing the results of measuring equipment capability analyses
  • Documenting the results of calibrations
  • Support in the implementation and evaluation of measurement system analyses
  • Support in the harmonization of measurement methods and test equipment
  • (externally with customers and internally with other plants)
  • Supervision of external service employees who carry out calibrations & service on test equipment
  • Communication with external suppliers (e.g. manufacturers of measuring equipment)
  • Compliance with standards and internal regulations (SOPs, WI…)

Qualifications

This function requires knowledge acquired during at least 2 years of technical vocational training and extended by at least 3 years of experience in the field of quality control.

This position requires advanced knowledge of metrology and quality management.
