Measure Technician - DFW

If so, we need to talk to you! Pella Windows & Doors of North and West Texas is now looking for a Measure Technician for our DFW market. For this position, we need a confident, outgoing individual who is self-disciplined and loves technical detail. We provide independence and an exciting, fast paced, and fun work environment. Our Measure Techs support our in-home sales efforts by meeting with homeowners who have just contracted with our sales reps to replace windows and doors in their homes. You'll remeasure openings to ensure the precise unit sizes are ordered and reconfirm our installation processes to ensure all customer expectations are met. You'll also complete new construction job sites to precheck installation readiness and correct openings, advising the home builder of any corrections that may be needed.

Responsibilities:
Problem solves and diagnoses installation solutions in the field
Provides Customers with helpful information on the care, operation and maintenance of their Pella products
Generates and updates all install-related paperwork and file folders following a critical measure visit so that project can continue to flow seamlessly
Performs job site walk-through’s and completes necessary paperwork, identifies items that need attention or correction prior to project finalization
Identifies and communicates part orders with our Grapevine project coordination team
Works collaboratively with our sales and project coordination team to ensure highly satisfied customers
Always adheres to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Safe driving record
