My name is Corey, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group.  We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Materials Scientist for a prominent client of ours.  This position is located in St. Paul, MN. Details of the position are as follows:

(W2 Only, No C2C)

Job Description:

• Pay is up to $40/hr
• 7 ½ month assignment with possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• The scientist will be responsible for acquiring and processing data for materials assessments, supporting other scientists and medical device project teams with development and operational support activities through the Science and Technology Materials Group lab.
• The candidate will also have experience with documenting experiments in a highly regulated environment and knowledge of technical concepts and principals underlying Materials Science techniques.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Polymer Science or related degree; or equivalent work experience.
• 3 or more years of experience and/or post-secondary education in Materials Science and Engineering.
• Surface analysis: Microscopy, SEM/EDS, FIB, Laser confocal microscopy
• Vibrational spectroscopy: FTIR, Raman
• Thermal Analysis: DSC, TGA, TMA, Rheological techniques
