NOVA Engineering is hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Materials Lab Technician in our Columbia, SC location. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests on concrete and aggregate materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Job Duties: * Perform tests on concrete and construction materials to determine its physical and engineering properties. * Prepare concrete samples for testing according to ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, and project-specific standards. * Accurately record test results and maintain detailed documentation. * Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and maintained in good working condition. * Monitor and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results. * Compile test data into comprehensive reports and communicate findings to project managers and engineers. * Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Certifications: * 2+ years experience testing concrete preferred - willing to train!
