THE WORK
Our Supply Chain Management Team is leading the charge in procuring material across a diverse global supply base to support the sustainment of multiple aircraft platforms around the world.
As a Material Planner Controller Staff within the Derco Supply Chain Management organization you will be working with a world class organization responsible for:
* Direct management and oversight of materiel levels sustaining Derco's $80M FEA
* Inventory management and material forecasting
* Ensuring proper inventory types and levels are on hand to maximize inventory turns and sales
* Working cross functionally between Derco functional areas to include SCM, Sales and Operations
* Identifying, coding and scheduling material for replenishment

WHO YOU ARE
You are a highly analytical and collaborative individual with a strong foundation in technical skills such as inventory management, demand forecasting, and data analysis, as well as excellent soft skills like effective communication and cross-functional teamwork. You will leverage your technical expertise, business acumen, and ability to work with different stakeholders to drive informed decision-making and optimize material planning and control processes.
A level 4 employee is early career and typically has 8 to 10+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience in one or more of the following fields: inventory management, demand forecasting, supply chain, statistics, mathematics, engineering, material cost estimating, material forecasting.
* Ability to capture and analyze large data sets from multiple sources and create substantiated material estimates and forecasts.
* Ability to work with cross functional teams
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Desired Skills:
* Experience managing and sustaining inventory to support sales and reduced lead times
* Experience in demand forecasting
* Working knowledge or familiarity with IFS
* Master's degree in a related discipline or MBA

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
