Benefits of the Role: Competitive compensation Excellent Total Rewards Package (100% company paid medical/dental benefits, vacation, RRSP matching program, health/wellness spending account) Clean and safe, temperature & humidity-controlled manufacturing environment Employer paid uniform, including safety shoes & safety glasses Permanent, full-time positions Training, development, and growth opportunities Job Description: As a key member of the Production Control team, the Production Control Support is responsible for back-up material handler and production control support duties such as unloading product deliveries, supporting production requirements, maintaining stock, updating inventory, moving stock and other materials to fulfill orders, staging orders as well as tracking consumables. The shifts we are currently hiring for are: - Weekday 1st Shift (Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm) - Weekend 1st Shift (Friday to Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm) Duties & Responsibilities: Move freight and stock to and from loading area, production lines, delivery vehicles, storage areas and production areas either manually or using equipment such as forklifts and cranes Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and securing product Receiving coil into the system Tracking consumables Updating inventory Document product shipments Maintain material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs when needed Utilize assisted and protected devices Operate machinery such as booms, cranes, and forklifts to handle and stock Support company health and safety policies Other duties, as required Qualifications: High school diploma and/or demonstrated work experience/internal training/testing Understanding and experience with deliveries and shipments within a manufacturing environment Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multi-task Demonstrated flexibility within a fast paced environment Ability to take initiative and recognize needs Superior attention to detail in all areas of work Professional appearance and manners Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, email and ERP Systems Previous experience with Plex considered an asset Experience with overhead crane and/or forklift is preferred Must be flexible and able to work any shift Mitsui High-tec (Canada), Inc. strives to create a respectful, accessible, and inclusive work environment.
