We are currently hiring a dedicated Material Handler to work in our fast-paced Shipping Department during the day shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prompt scanning and loading of trailers from pallets for customer orders and/or r emoving them from a conveyor system to stack other places.

Specific Responsibilities

Stack cases on pallet or slipsheet and ensure cases are in good condition. 30-40%

Operate handheld scanner. Scan cases to pallet / slip sheet and to trailer 30-40%

Utilize equipment to load orders onto trailers. Maintain flow of goods onto trailer 20-30%

Attach labels and shipping documents 10-20%

Maintain accurate count of cases loaded. Calculate quantities and cases

based on order requirements. May assist in keeping row sheet to verify

product loaded on trailer 5-10%

Remove empty pallets from locations as they accumulate 5-10%

Basic arithmetic skills; ability to add and subtract

Ability to operate handheld scanner

Minimum Job Experience Required

0-3 months of related work experience.
