Job Description

Responsible for filling and packaging of products as directed in a Manufacturing/Production environment. Responsible for delivering packaged product to the proper staging area for shipment. Responsible for moving around finished product and loading and unloading empty receptacles.

DUTIES

• Proper handling and packaging of flammable materials
• Maintain good housekeeping of the assigned areas
• Assist in consolidating hazardous waste drums as needed
• Ability to operate a sit down forklift.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned by management
  
  

Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities

• Knowledge of chemical handling and safety requirements
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and process
• Complete understanding of packaging and labeling requirements
• Good listening skills
• Knowledge of packaging and labeling requirements
  
  

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Must be able to match numbers quickly and accurately
• Take pride in delivering excellent customer service
• Thrive in a busy, fast-paced Production environment
• Ability to work closely with others in a team environment
• 1+ years’ experience in production/warehouse environment
• Forklift Certification-Preferred
• HS graduate required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
  
  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is routinely required to: sit, walk, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, stretch and use hands to; finger, handle, and feel. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include: close visions, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position also requires the ability to work under deadlines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions which includes; heat, humidity, cold, and wet. The employee is occasionally exposed to; fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Full Time Position - Monday thru Friday - 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Pay

In accordance with California’s labor code, the expected salary/hourly range for this position is between $20.00 and $23.00 per hour. A new hire’s actual pay will be determined based on experience, skillset, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
