  • Identify demand fluctuations and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages.
  • Support internal logistics and material flow across the shop floor.
  • Source, negotiate, and purchase materials and supplies; analyze quotes for compliance and performance.
  • Lead cost savings initiatives by collaborating cross-functionally.

  • Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory, generate inventory reports for review.
  • Coordinate EDI and PO communications with suppliers.
  • Expedite missed deliveries and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Provide back-up support to other Materials roles as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, materials planning, logistics, and supply chain, ideally in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.
  • Specialized experience in fabrication, MRO consumables procurement, and logistics.
  • Proven experience in high-volume negotiation and supplier management.
  • Advanced skills in inventory control methodologies.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
