About the Role We're looking for a Marketing Video Editor who brings strategic thinking, creative storytelling, and technical precision to every edit. You'll partner with marketing, creative, and production teams to deliver best-in-class content that inspires, informs, and drives results. From editing high-impact brand campaigns to crafting cutdowns for social, CRM, and performance marketing, you'll bring stories to life through motion, sound, and strong visual storytelling. You'll also be fluent in the latest creative tools and workflows and help us innovate how we collaborate across geographies and timelines. What You'll Do * Editing and animation high-performing videos across platforms: social media, YouTube, paid media, CRM, internal campaigns, and more. * Collaborate with producers, designers, and marketers to bring concepts to life from brief to delivery. * Apply and adapt brand guidelines consistently across all formats. * Work within modern video collaboration workflows, using tools like LucidLink, Frame.io, Box, and Google Drive for streamlined review and delivery. * Manage multiple projects simultaneously with clarity, speed, and organization. * Maintain clean project files and adhere to version control and naming conventions. ### Tools You'll Use * Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro (primary editing), After Effects (motion design), Photoshop, Audition, Media Encoder * Figma: For collaboration with design and marketing teams * LucidLink: For real-time cloud collaboration with post-production teams * Frame.io: For feedback, annotation, and versioning * Google Workspace: Drive, Docs, Sheets for asset management and coordination * Slack: Team communication and project updates * Bonus: Familiarity with color grading in DaVinci Resolve or audio cleanup in iZotope RX Basic Qualifications * 4+ years of experience editing for marketing or branded content, ideally in a tech, lifestyle, post-production or creative agency setting * A strong portfolio showcasing narrative storytelling, pacing, transitions, and attention to sound and motion * Understanding of content formats and specs across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, paid media, and internal comms Preferred Qualifications * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially under tight deadlines * Ability to take and implement feedback across multiple stakeholders and iterations * Strong communication and collaboration skills-you know how to work well with creatives, marketers, and producers alike * Basic knowledge of motion graphics or visual effects * Experience working with global brands and localizing assets for international markets * Familiarity with brand and design systems * Understanding of integrated marketing and how editing choices affect engagement and conversions * Ability to self-manage in fast-paced environments and ambiguity For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$130,000 per year - USD$144,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
