Summary

SUMMARY: The First Bank Marketing Internship is a 10-week program, starting on May 19th, 2025, and concluding on July 25th, 2025. * Content Research and Development: Conduct research on trending topics, customer interests, and financial industry developments to help create relevant and engaging content ideas for the "Learn" section of the First Bank website. * Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts: Assist in developing an infrastructure that allows subject matter experts within the bank to contribute insights and expertise, enriching content for the bank's website. * Content Creation and Editing: Support the drafting, editing, and proofreading of articles, blog posts, and other content for the First Bank website to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with the brand voice. * Social Media and Public Relations: Contribute to the bank's social media channels by drafting engaging posts and assisting in monitoring interactions. Support PR initiatives by drafting content for press releases and coordinating media outreach efforts. * Email Marketing: Collaborate on email marketing campaigns by assisting with content drafting, segmentation, and performance tracking. * Graphic Design Support: Assist with graphic design projects for articles, social media, email marketing, in-branch collateral, and advertisements, ensuring all materials align with First Bank's brand guidelines. Required Qualifications: * Must currently be a rising College Junior or Senior, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, Graphic Design, English, or a related field. Required Skills: * Strong written and verbal communication skills (please submit a writing sample). * Familiarity with digital marketing channels (social media, email, etc.). * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. * Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Other Requirements/Attributes: * Basic proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. * Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies is a plus. * Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) is a plus.
