Position Overview

The Marketing Specialist, Social Media & Community Management is responsible for supporting the overall Paid Media, Organic Social, Influencer, & PR team with organic social media presence, developing and executing content calendars, and engaging with our online community. Ultimately contributing to growth in brand awareness, loyalty, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and execute organic content calendars across social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter)
  • Support in editing, building, & publishing engaging social media copy and visual briefs aligned with brand voice and campaign goals
  • Monitor platforms for trends, hashtags, and relevant conversations to capitalize on timely opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing creative, strategy, & paid media teams, as well as product teams, to align messaging and visuals
  • Engage with followers and fans through comments, DMs, mentions, and tags—fostering a positive and active online community
  • Track and analyze social media KPIs and engagement metrics; deliver regular performance reports with insights and recommendations
  • Assist in influencer/creator outreach and content partnerships as needed
  • Stay current on platform updates and best practices to optimize content performance

Work Experience And Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications or related field, preferred
  • 1–4 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or a related field (internships or freelance work count!)
  • Strong understanding & experience with major social media platforms and their respective audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging content and tell compelling brand stories
  • Familiarity with basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) is a plus

The compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements. The range of pay budgeted for this role is: $55,000 - 65,000 annualized, with additional incentive compensation and benefits.
