Marketing Project Manager

Location: Hybrid onsite schedule in Culver City, CA or Cupertino, CA

Duration: 12 months to start

Pay: ~$59.35/hour, DOE (W2 and benefit options)

The Planet Group is looking for a Marketing Project Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and is hybrid in Culver City, CA or Cupertino, CA.

Marketing Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Creating and manage project workflows, and prioritize those projects leveraging collaboration tools such as Quip, Confluence, Wrike, etc.
• Formulate new ideas and approaches, be oriented towards experimentation, and use data and structured thinking to inform approach
• Develop and evolve the collaboration platforms used within the team and by our cross-functional partners to track and prioritize programs, feature enhancements, and status
• Provide reporting on project, program, and product status across the various business and lifecycles
• Create and manage the tools necessary for marketing, business and product leaders to evaluate and prioritize a large portfolio of projects

Marketing Project Manager Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in project and process management with a focus in crossfunctional collaboration and prioritization
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with and present to partners at all levels of the organization
• Expertise in working effectively and autonomously across multiple teams in situations of ambiguity, with only high-level direction
• Experience partnering with product, engineering, analytics, and marketing teams to prioritize new features, programs and capabilities
• Experience tracking and managing multiple projects, businesses and products within tight deadlines, using project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, etc.
• A stellar teammate who is able to influence and drive decision making for the group as a whole
