Job Purpose:

  • Business Development Manager - E-Commerce/ Business Development, to lead a leading conglomerate's eCommerce product initiative for Logistics, the most comprehensive marketplace for Logistics
  • Prepare Annual Business Plan
  • Developing and promoting B2C and B2B communications on all digital platforms
  • Achieve Top Line & Bottom Line targets
  • Define Strategy for Sales & Marketing for various accounts
  • Define product roadmaps for all potential customer touch points (customer, Vendor, marketing, etc.) Strategy for Acquisition and Retention for Vendors and Customers
  • Build a robust system for business expansion
  • Execute, monitor & control operations and ensure that the operations support the business goals of the Organization
  • Evaluate &present creative idea based on competitor and market study of what new can be done on website to bring quality traffic
  • Enhancing Employee capabilities
  • Competition Bench marking / Analysis

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Define strategy and execution aspects of content, commerce and communication to drive business and customer acquisition in order to meet company's KPIs:
  • Responsible for the budget planning, layout of the E-Commerce team, scalability of the E-Commerce revenues and online sales, day to day operations of the E-Commerce venture.
  • Should Lead Business Development / Marketing / Branding / Alliance / Vendor Development
  • Manage Costs, Profits while Scaling the business rapidly
  • Working closely with Digital Marketing Team on optimization of landing pages and test campaigns.
  • Work with other departments in the company as team lead them to growth path while spreading positive energy.
  • Ownership and management of Customer Experience including Design & Aesthetics, Content, Navigation, Information Architecture, Branding/Marketing, Performance, Functionality.
  • Finding appropriate services/Products to be added in Logistics to expand client and vendor network and Revenue growth for the organization.
  • Ownership of Customer Acquisition, Vendor Management, Logistics operations, Sales, Marketing and Operations etc.
  • Ownership of entire business Operations and Profitability
  • Would be responsible for weekly/ monthly and periodic reporting of growth patterns for the E-Commerce division for the growth to the promoter & the board.
  • Would be responsible for integration of different teams across marketing, sourcing, technology, catalog development, merchandising, supply chain, Business Development, Vendor Development, shared services (HR, legal, finance) etc. and create a well rounded off and integrated team for the E-Commerce business.
  • Would be responsible for the pre-launch and post launch strategy for the E-Commerce business of the conglomerate.
  • Develop Operational Policy & Procedures
