We’re working with a well-established, purpose-driven organisation within the healthcare and insurance space, known for its strong professional reputation and supportive culture. They’re looking to hire a Marketing Manager to lead sector-specific marketing activity, with a significant emphasis on planning and delivering high-impact events.

This is a varied and strategic marketing role with a strong focus on event management - the successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of 10–15 events annually, ranging from large conferences to targeted networking engagements.

As part of the wider marketing team, you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across policy, communications, and membership teams to create engaging, compliant, and insight-led campaigns. You’ll also manage a Marketing Executive, supporting their development and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sector-specific marketing activity to drive recruitment and retention
  • Plan and deliver all event activity (10–15 annually), ensuring ROI and brand alignment
  • Develop integrated, multi-channel campaigns using both digital and traditional channels
  • Provide clear, actionable insight using data and research to guide activity
  • Manage budgets, agency relationships, and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee content updates across web and offline platforms
  • Line manage and mentor a Marketing Executive

About You:

  • Strong event planning and execution experience is essential
  • Background in healthcare, medical, insurance or other regulated environments is required (public sector also considered)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and organisational skills
  • A confident communicator with proven ability to manage projects and people
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (1 day per week in London)
  • Ideally degree qualified or with a CIM/IDM or similar marketing qualification

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a visible and rewarding marketing leadership role, combining campaign management with meaningful event delivery in a respected, stable organisation.
