The Marketing Intern will provide support to Marketing team members through various projects including marketing campaigns, website maintenance, proposals, events/sponsorships, CRM and other projects as assigned. About you * You're professional and a people person. You care, are positive, have fun, have empathy and are a team player. You have a professional customer service mind-set. You relate and interact successfully with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds. * You're a fast learner. You're a self-starter, aren't afraid of new challenges, and can jump right in with minimal direction to learn a new task at hand. New technology is pretty easy to navigate. Your entrepreneurial spirit means you're attracted to a variety of projects and activities. * You're independent and responsible. We will provide detailed hands-on training. Then you'll have the opportunity to own your responsibility and work independently! People can rely on you because you are proactive and stay on top of your deadlines and commitments. * Details and organization are your friend. Known to dot your i's and cross your t's, you think things through. If you're on a trip, you probably packed the one thing no one else thought to bring. * You have light experience through school or work. You have a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Communications or are working towards your degree; and have experience in sponsorships, communications, project coordination, event planning and/or administration. Responsibilities * Assisting with execution of events and sponsorships * Assisting with list development and target contact research projects * Assisting with proposals, SOQs, presentations and other document editing and production * Execution of direct marketing campaigns * Helping with various aspects of budget to actual reporting, including updating budgets with actual expenses on a monthly basis * Drafting copy for sponsorship-related communications, event communications, news releases, Insights blog and social media posts and other website copy, etc. * Helping with email database updates such as coding lists for upload, adding new internal and external subscribers, removing unsubscribes and researching / appending contact data for existing subscribers * Assisting with updates/preparation of numerous reports, including industry revenue reports, pipeline reports, website and social media analytics reports * Conducting target company research, competitor research and other marketing activity research as needed * Organizing photography assets and sourcing new stock photography for inventory * Assisting with promotional item and collateral inventory management * Website audits including review for consistencies and/or page errors as well as tagging for meta description and SEO enhancement Accounting for more than numbers!
