Hi! We are a talks platform connecting the UK’s top thinkers with audiences around the country. We are planning events on science, neurodiversity, mental health, psychedelics, psychology, history, current affairs, philosophy, wellness and more in 2023 and beyond. The Role


We are looking for someone to become an integral part of our company and help us get the word out about our events. 


Responsibilities may include


  • Managing our paid ads & monitoring performance (facebook, instagram, google, linkedin, twitter & tiktok)
  • Growing our mailing list via mailchimp
  • Monitoring our ticketing via our partners such as eventbrite, dice, skiddle etc
  • Helping with venue relations and marketing strategies 
  • Writing mailers and monitoring performance
  • Driving national and local PR towards our events
  • Brainstorming new event ideas based on the data we collect 
  • Helping to manage our social media, brainstorming content ideas 
  • Coordinating content shoots at our events


We are a rapidly growing, young company and responsibilities change and evolve quite quickly. You must be comfortable and excited by this! 


You will report directly to our marketing manager and will be supported by our Marketing Assistant. 


The Profile


First and foremost we are seeking someone who has a passion for events and the topics we program. The successful candidate will be adept at problem solving, can work independently and can think analytically. 


Desired qualities;   (please don’t be worried if you do not have everything on this list, as training will be provided and ongoing) 


  • A decent understanding of google sheets & google docs (important)
  • Decent numerical skills and high attention to detail (important) 
  • A passion for events, education and the content we program (important)
  • Experience in event admin or another admin based role 
  • Experience running paid ads 
  • An ability to build rapport with new people
  • An ability to conduct research quickly and effectively 
  • An ability to communicate in an efficient and concise manner 
  • Caring and considerate to represent us to our customers in the best possible way 
  • Event creation & business development experience is a big plus!
