We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Marketing Director to lead their content strategy development and execution across all platforms. This role will shape their brand voice, drive audience engagement, and achieve key business objectives through compelling content.
In This Role, You Will
Content Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement content strategies that align with business goals and marketing objectives to drive lead generation and conversions for the company.
Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to inform content direction.
Define content pillars, topics, and formats (website, podcasts, blog posts, articles, videos, infographics, social media updates, etc.).
Create and maintain an editorial calendar for consistent content delivery.
Content Creation & Production
Lead, guide, and mentor a team of content creators (writers, editors, designers, videographers).
Oversee content production from ideation through publishing.
Ensure all content follows brand guidelines, style guides, and SEO best practices.
Review and analyze content performance to identify improvements.
Channel Management
Develop and manage content strategies for owned, earned, and paid channels.
Track and analyze key metrics (e.g., website traffic, social media engagement, conversion rates) to measure effectiveness.
Lead PR efforts and work with media outlets to secure earned media placements (articles, interviews, podcast features) in top-tier publications.
Build relationships with influencers and creators to drive earned media and organic traffic through collaborations, guest features, and co-branded campaigns.
Community Building
Organize, co-host, or sponsor events that generate press coverage and increase exposure for the company.
Foster partnerships with key industry figures and thought leaders to get mentions, co-hosted content, and distribution partnerships.
Resource Management
Allocate resources effectively across content projects and campaigns.
Manage content budgets and explore cost-effective production methods.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in content marketing.
You Might Thrive In This Role If You Have
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
7-10+ years of experience in content marketing or digital marketing roles
3-5+ years in senior leadership positions
Proven track record in developing and executing successful content marketing strategies
Strong understanding of SEO, content analytics, and digital marketing tools
Experience with content management systems and marketing automation platforms
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Deep understanding of digital marketing landscape and emerging trends
Experience in building and managing brand presence across multiple channels
Strong network within the industry and media relations experience
