About the role: The Marketing Data Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting marketing data to optimize campaign performance, customer engagement, and return on investment. Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Management: Gather and integrate marketing data from various sources, including CRM systems, website analytics, social media platforms, email marketing platforms, advertising platforms, and other relevant databases. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to customer behavior, campaign performance, channel effectiveness, and market trends within the insurance industry.
- Reporting and Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc marketing reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate findings to marketing teams and stakeholders.
- Campaign Performance Analysis: Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns across different channels, providing insights into ROI, cost per acquisition (CPA), conversion rates, and other relevant metrics. Recommend optimizations for improved performance.
- Customer Segmentation and Targeting: Analyze customer data to identify key segments and develop data-driven targeting strategies for marketing campaigns.
- Predictive Modeling (Optional): Develop and apply predictive models to forecast marketing outcomes, identify potential customer churn, and optimize lead scoring.
- A/B Testing and Experimentation: Design and analyze A/B tests and other marketing experiments to optimize website content, email campaigns, and other marketing assets.
- Data-Driven Recommendations: Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for marketing strategy adjustments, campaign improvements, and resource allocation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with marketing managers, campaign specialists, and other team members to understand their data needs and provide relevant analysis and insights. Present findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Marketing Technology Support: Assist in the implementation and optimization of marketing technology platforms and tools, ensuring data integration and accurate tracking.
- Compliance and Data Privacy: Ensure all data analysis and reporting activities comply with relevant data privacy regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Marketing with a strong analytical focus, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing data analysis role. Experience within the insurance or financial services industry is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to collect, clean, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various marketing platforms.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Excel (advanced), and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio) to create clear and compelling reports and dashboards.
- Solid understanding of marketing metrics and KPIs (e.g., CPA, ROI, conversion rates, customer lifetime value).
- Bilingual: Spanish/English (MUST)
