Job Summary and Qualifications Marketing Coordinator Position Summary: Assist with administrative tasks, liaison with our PR firm and any promotional companies, coordinate communications and reporting functions for our sales team, assist in editorial list building and press release distribution, maintain image library, assist in corporate event coordination, coordinate/distribute marketing materials to sales team and assist with web site updates. Primary Responsibilities: * Liaise with our PR firm to assist in developing marketing communications. * Brainstorm, research, coordinate, write, and proof-read communications as needed. * Coordinate with PR Firm to assist in managing our website which includes editing, and performing updates as needed * Assist sales team with weekly/monthly and quarterly reporting * Develop a method to distribute collateral to sales members company-wide; manage stock and re-order when necessary. * Establish strong working relationships with sales team to facilitate effective and efficient communication with marketing materials. * Assist Marketing and Sales Department staff with administrative needs as needed including presentation development. * Manage sales collateral and marketing materials * Work with and communicate effectively with diverse types of people to proactively gather and assemble information under tight timeframes * Write and edit copy for marketing collateral as needed, including brochures, project articles, award submittals, direct mail, news releases, and presentations. Conduct interviews, verify facts, and ensure accuracy of all written communications QUALIFICATIONS: * Excellent writing skills * Experience creating or managing the development of marketing materials such as direct mail and sales collateral * Ability to analyze available information and make sound decisions * Ability to work in consultative manner with clients of varied levels internally and externally * Research skills, consultative sales approach and a creative eye are all important * Must be proficient with the internet and Microsoft software package including Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Must have strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail * High-energy, customer-focused with a positive attitude * Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must * Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Specific Requirements include: * BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field * 3 years of marketing experience preferred * Prior experience working within a healthcare environment, or with healthcare clients, preferred * Exceptional Writing, Proofing and Editing Skills - Writing samples will be requested.
