Summary

Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the "Best Places to Work" in the North Bay Business Journal thirteen years in a row, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team at our corporate office in Novato. The Marketing Coordinator will directly support the larger marketing team on a range of projects and initiatives; including print and digital advertising, creative trafficking, collateral management and development, event planning and execution, and budget tracking. Essential Job Functions: * Manage print and digital Bank collateral (i.e., brochures, information sheets, welcome kits, etc.); monitor inventory levels, maintain lists, manage required updates, work with creative agencies to create new collateral, and work with vendors to order inventory. * Assist with reviewing and trafficking creative assets (i.e., print and digital ads, social media tiles/posts, collateral, etc.), proofreading and routing for approvals. * Support Marketing and Events Manager with event coordination, including logistics, materials preparation, and on-site assistance. * Monitor the Marketing team's general mailboxes and respond to and route inquiries as necessary. * Monitor social media channels; work with Compliance and Bank leadership to report all complaints/reviews and determine best course of action. * Process marketing invoices, track expenses, and assist with budget reconciliation. * Assist in the management of inventory and distribution of promotional items (i.e., pens, notepads, t-shirts, etc.) for events and other marketing activities; coordinate with vendors to order and replenish stock as needed. * Project manage the creation and distribution of the annual Bank of Marin Community Calendar. * Manage the marketing intranet page to ensure the content is up-to-date and ready for employee use. * Track both Bank and sponsorship events (dates, attendance, feedback). * Maintain marketing calendars, track project timelines, and ensure deadlines are met. * Work to standardize and document Marketing operational processes. * Provide administrative and project support to the marketing team as needed. * Special projects and other duties may be assigned. Professional Experience: * Minimum 2-3 years related experience and/or training. Educational Experience: * Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training. Degree in Marketing is preferred Job Skill Level / Additional Requirements: * Embraces a strong team-oriented culture by actively collaborating within the Marketing team and with other departments to support shared goals, contribute ideas, and foster a positive, supportive work environment. * Professional image, with ability to represent Bank of Marin in a positive way. * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate with individuals of varying levels of seniority and diverse backgrounds. * Experience in working with creative agencies and managing the development of marketing collateral. * Experience with social media platforms. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to time manage a multitude of priorities, requests, and relationships in a positive manner; has ability to work independently with limited or no supervision. * Flexible and adaptable mindset that allows for quick pivots and adjustments to meet evolving business needs. * Comfortable working with invoices, tracking budgets, and collaborating with vendors. * Requires some primarily local travel (approximately 5-10%) for branch visits and event support and attendance. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required during events. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp) is a plus. The hiring pay range for this position is $30.61 to $41.31. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
