Summary

Job Summary:

Marketing Coordinator will support the social media team in developing and implementing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth across social platforms. This role involves content creation, daily social media monitoring, responding to audience interactions, and assisting in the analysis of campaign performance. The ideal candidate has a keen interest in social media trends, strong communication skills, and a creative approach to problem-solving.

 

Key Responsibilities:


1. Content Creation and Scheduling:

  - Assist in creating, editing, and scheduling engaging content (images, videos, text, etc.) for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).

  - Ensure consistency in brand voice, style, and messaging across all social media content.

  - Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and other team members to produce high-quality visuals.

 

2. Community Management:

  - Monitor social media channels daily for comments, messages, and mentions; respond in a timely and professional manner.

  - Engage with followers by liking, commenting, and sharing user-generated content to foster a positive brand community.

  - Identify opportunities for interaction to improve brand visibility and engagement.

 

3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  - Track and report on key performance metrics, including reach, engagement, follower growth, and conversion rates.

  - Assist in analyzing social media campaigns to identify successes and areas for improvement.

  - Prepare weekly or monthly reports on social media performance.

 

4. Social Media Research and Trend Analysis:

  - Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.

  - Conduct competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and benchmarks.

  - Propose innovative ideas for new content formats, campaigns, or platform use.

 

5. Collaborative Campaign Support:

  - Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, including promotions, giveaways, and collaborations.

  - Coordinate with other departments to ensure social media activities align with broader marketing efforts.

  - Support the team in planning and executing influencer marketing initiatives.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.

- 1-2 years of experience in social media management, internships, or relevant roles.

- Proficiency with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).

- Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).

- Excellent communication and writing skills.

- Creative mindset with attention to detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark).

- Experience with social media management platforms.

- Knowledge of paid social media advertising.
