Our non-profit client is searching for a Marketing Coordinator to join their team for a 4 month assignment starting in June.

Location: Hybrid; Detroit, MI

Duration: approximately 4 months, 30hrs/week

Key Responsibilities

• Support the email communications in layout and execution for the organization's mass-email program through email system, Feathr.
• Implement website edits and updates through WordPress.
• Creation of social media content, leveraging Sprout Social and design creation in Canva.
• Support production design projects, such as fliers, graphics, signage and/or updates to existing assets within Adobe Suite and Canva.
• Attends Marketing and Communication team meetings to discuss upcoming project goals and objectives.
• Work cross-functionally across departments to provide subject matter expertise and guidance in digital and design execution and strategy.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, advertising, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience in marketing, digital communications, or similar role with demonstrated success.
• Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in project management, design and execution of marketing, fundraising, and communications activities.
• Strong creative, strategic, and organizational skills.
• Experience working in project management software, preferably Asana.
• Knowledge of social media content creation, best practices and channel differentiation.
• Experience in Adobe Suite (particularly Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) and Canva preferred.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft 365 for file sharing, word processing, page layout, presentations, and reporting.
• Clear, timely and professional written and verbal communication and relationship skills required.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
