Summary

MAIN PURPOSE

Responsible for analyzing market information to formulate, execute, and manage effective marketing and communication strategies for IWC in China with the aim to elevate brand image, brand awareness, and sales potential in order to achieve brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibility 1 – Marketing and Business Strategy Development

  • Collect and analyze market information, research, and competitor data.
  • Assist MD in the preparation of business plan and presentation.
  • Formulate local Marketing strategy in line with international guidelines ensuring the specific adaptation to local context and challenges
  • Translate centrally developed brand concepts for local execution when relevant
  • Develop and implement actions for successful product launches.
  • Manage marketing & communication / CAPEX budget.
  • Manage vendors to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines.

Key responsibility 2 – CRM / Digital & Social Content

  • Establish and execute digital strategy and guideline, working with HQ to ensure alignment and synergy
  • Creation of contents for Chinese Social Media & campaigns
  • Maximize China digital performance including Weibo and Wechat official accounts, Baidu search engine, RED etc.
  • Develop and execute CRM strategy, implementing customer journeys to maximize CLV.

Key responsibility 3 – Communications Development

  • In charge of directing and overseeing Communications strategies across all mediums
  • Develop and implement national and local communications plans that build awareness and drive demand for the Maison’s creations
  • To build/manage/support the brand relationships with journalist, celebrities and their agents, socialites, opinion leaders, etc for high visibility brand and creations stories in partnership with HQ

Key responsibility 4 – Media

  • Establish and execute annual media plan according to global media direction and local needs.
  • To develop and ensure excellent relationships with targeted media (sales and editorial).
  • Working closely with HQ and manufacture, propose and manage the overall media/advertising and publicity plans.
  • To maximize return for the media investment.
  • To provide PR materials and other tools to the media on a regular basis and ensure optimal exposure
  • To monitor and evaluate the impact of media plan.

Key responsibility 5 –Trade Marketing / Visual Merchandising / Events

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategy, visual merchandising and window animation according to the marketing calendar.
  • Propose and organize promotional, PR, and client events.
  • Coordinate with manufacture and regional VM teams to execute a consistent brand presentation in all communications
  • Drive implementation of marketing programs/campaigns to support business objectives for all channel business

Key responsibility 6 - Budget Management

  • To be responsible for budget forecast, planning
  • Manage budget ensuring activities are kept within budget of fiscal year

Key responsibility 7 – People and Organization Leadership

  • Hire and develop people who have a positive impact
  • Define annual objectives for team members and manage team performance.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to build talents through coaching, and experience planning

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education : University degree / MBA preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum +10 years Marketing experience in international brands.
  • Languages: Speak and write fluent Chinese and English.
  • Others: Previous experience working in China / Luxury experience will be a plus.
