Future Golf is seeking an experienced Marketing Operations / CRM Campaign Specialist to join their dynamic team.


About the Role:


The Marketing Operations / CRM Campaign Specialist will play a critical role in the execution and operationalisation of Future Golf’s marketing engine. This role is split across two primary focus areas:


  • Campaign Planning & Acquisition: Planning new always-on and seasonal marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels to support member acquisition.
  • CRM & Retention: Executing the CRM and member engagement strategy to improve the member experience, reduce churn, and increase customer lifetime value.


Responsibilities:


Function 1: Campaign Planning


  • Develop and maintain the 12-month campaign calendar across new member acquisition, retention and member engagement across FG owned digital channels and events.
  • Assist to maintain, integrate and assist to execute Club partner and commercial partners marketing calendars.
  • Collaborate with the Creative & Performance teams to brief assets for digital ads, landing pages, and offline activations.
  • Project manage key seasonal campaigns (e.g. EOFY, Summer Series, Black Friday) ensuring on-time execution across paid media, email, content, partnerships, and events.
  • Coordinate with agency partners (media, creative) to align campaign timelines, messaging, and deliverables.
  • Track, analyse, and report campaign performance (sign-ups, CPA, CTR, ROAS) and provide insights to optimise future activity.
  • Manage marketing workflows in tools such as Trello, Airtable, Notion, or Asana.
  • Assist in budgeting, planning, and reconciling media spend across channels.


Function 2: CRM & Retention


  • Collaborate with and implement the Membership and Product teams retention strategies to deliver automated lifecycle journeys via CRM tools.
  • CRM execution across the customer lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, renewal, win-back, and referrals.
  • Plan and deploy weekly/monthly email and SMS communications for member updates, offers, events, and tips.
  • Segment audience groups based on behavior, tenure, and engagement to deliver targeted, relevant content.
  • Build and maintain email marketing flows (welcome journeys, reminders, upsells) using tools like Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or HubSpot.
  • Measure engagement, open/click rates, and churn metrics to refine communication strategies.
  • Test and optimise messaging, subject lines, and send times using A/B testing and segmentation.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail campaign planning and customer retention strategies, particularly within subscription-based models. You'll be responsible for crafting engaging campaigns, implementing retention tactics, and utilizing data-driven approaches to keep our golfing community thriving.


The ideal candidate is experienced in campaign planning and CRM communications, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders, optimise workflows, and enhance the marketing team’s impact.


Required Skills


  • 5+ years in marketing operations, CRM, or campaign planning roles.
  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns across digital and offline touchpoints.
  • Hands-on knowledge CRM and customer engagement tools (e.g. Braze, Emarsys, Tap Click).
  • Hands-on knowledge email tools (e.g. Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot).
  • Strong skills in audience segmentation and lifecycle marketing.
  • Comfortable working with analytics tools (GA4, Excel/Sheets).
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with golf or community-driven brands is a plus.
