Type: Full-time / Perm / Hybrid-Remote


Locations: Washington or California (ONLY)


Base Salary Range: $120k - $145k/annually, depending on experience.


Summary:

Our client is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager/Senior GTM Engineer to bridge the gap between technology and business strategy to drive growth! This role sits at the intersection of engineering, marketing, and data analytics, focusing on optimizing our go-to-market (GTM) efforts through automation, data-driven insights, and cutting-edge technology. This is a highly technical role, requiring hands-on experience building API integrations, database queries, automation workflows, scripting, and setting up outbound and inbound triggers. In this role, you will also configure event tracking, create dashboards in HubSpot, and work directly with SQL and AI GTM tools to enhance marketing and sales efforts. A key part of your role will be improving marketing attribution, working with custom automation scripts and webhooks, surfacing insights to sales leaders, and collaborating closely with the SDR team to optimize outreach. Responsibilities:

  • Technology Strategy & Implementation - including evaluating, recommending, and integrating tools and technologies that enhance GTM efficiency, including AI-driven outreach, automation platforms, and data analytics solutions.
  • Data & Attribution Optimization - including improving marketing attribution models to provide accurate insights into campaign performances, customer journeys, and conversation paths.
  • Marketing & Sales Automation - including building and maintaining workflows in tools like HubSpot, Clay, and other outbound/inbound automation platforms, to streamline lead generation and nurturing.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation - including designing and executing A/B tests on websites, landing pages, and email campaigns to optimize conversion rates and engagement.
  • Intent Signal Utilization - including developing and refining methodologies for capturing and using signals to personalize outreach and improve prospect engagement.
  • API Integrations & Custom Automation - including building and maintaining API integrations, developing automation scripts, and configuring webhooks to ensure seamless connectivity between GTM systems.
  • Event Tracking & Dashboard Creation - including setting up event tracking for marketing and sales activities and building dashboards in HubSpot and other analytics tools to provide real-time insights.
  • SQL, Python & JavaScript Development - including utilizing SQL for querying data, writing Python/JavaScript scripts for automation, and integrating AI GTM tools to improve targeting and efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication - including acting as a technical advisor to marketing and sales teams and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Reporting & Insights - including creating dashboards and reports that surface actionable insights, helping the team to make data-driven decisions about campaign performance and outreach strategies.
  • Security & Compliance - including ensuring that the marketing and sales technology stack complies with data privacy regulations and security best practices.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Deep technical expertise, including a strong background in API development, database management, scripting, and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, JavaScript, and AI-driven GTM tools is required.
  • Experience using the software, Clay.
  • Experienced using some type of intent data, such as 6sense or others.
  • Business Acumen, including the ability to understand and translate business goals into technical solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Experience with GTM tools, including hands-on experience with platforms such as HubSpot, Clay, Segment, and/or other marketing/sales automation tools.
  • Basic Front-End Development skills, including CSS and HTML for website work.
  • Experience with marketing tools such as Google Analytics and Webflow.
  • Experience with A/B testing and optimization, including strong familiarity with website and email testing frameworks to enhance conversion rates.
  • An AI and data-driven mindset, including having experience leveraging AI/ML models for customer segmentation, outreach optimization, and marketing insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including having a proactive mindset and the ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and implement changes effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, including a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising and paid media optimization.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
  • Must live in the State of Washington or California (ONLY).
