About the role - Hybrid (2 days in CBD office)

We’re looking for a dynamic Marketing and Events Manager to join our small but impactful team on a 12-month parental leave cover contract. This is a generalist marketing role perfect for an individual who’s creative, passionate about all things marketing, and ready to turn their hand to a wide variety of tasks — from content creation to event management and digital marketing.

âś…What You'll Do

  • Inform, manage and execute our events calendar and conference participation
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend external events and conferences (this may require interstate travel)
  • Present on stage at industry events, representing the brand with confidence, knowledge and energy
  • Report on conference success through metrics and ROI
  • Assist in curating our webinar calendar, content, and presentations
  • Manage campaigns from planning to execution
  • Oversee and grow our social media channels
  • Create engaging content including blogs, emails, presentations, and marketing collateral
  • Support basic graphic design and video editing (Adobe experience desirable)
  • Utilise HubSpot for campaign management and lead nurturing (experience highly desirable)

About You

  • 3+ years' experience in B2B marketing (procurement technology experience is desirable but not essential)
  • A high-energy, confident public speaker and natural presenter
  • A creative marketer with fresh ideas and an ability to make technical content engaging
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A team player who collaborates well with team members across multiple departments and thrives in a fast-moving environment
  • An excellent listener and quick learner who can adapt messaging to different audiences
  • Strong strategic thinking and practical execution skills
  • Experience with basic design tools and a working knowledge of video editing is a bonus (Adobe experience is a plus)
